Dick Bros. Recipe Booklet c. 1925
Dick Bros. Bakery was owned and operated by Jerome and Hector Dick in Manitowoc, WI starting in 1910. By 1911 there were 18 bakeries in the area that were “ready to deliver bread to the breakfast table.” After many successful years, Dick Bros. Bakery was phased out of existence in 1986, after having been acquired by the Heileman Baking Corp. (The baking subsidiary of G. Heileman Brewing Co., maker of Old Style Lager) in 1978.
